TakeRoots is a network of gardeners, farmers, and locavores. Users are able to connect with others in their community for the purposes of trading locally produced foods and goods.
- Eat Healthy. Download the app, load it up and see whos gardening and farming! You can even view their products, and see if they have any other items in which you are interested.
- Eat Local. Want tomatoes? Within 5 miles? Organic tomatoes only? Set your search parameters while looking for products to buy or trade.
- Buy, sell, or barter... Find something you want? Send a proposal to that user, and negotiate the terms of the trade through the app.
- View your trades and your message activity like email. You can see alerts from other users that have proposed trades with you.
- Want to know why you have four stars or five? View a detailed transaction breakdown.
